Kevin Gorey had two successful heart bypass surgeries in his early 40’s.
Heart disease is the number one killer of humans. Yes, more than cancer or car accidents and way more than bullets. In fact during 2017 over 800,000 Americans died of cardiovascular disease, which is the umbrella term that includes heart disease, stroke and heart failure.
Heart disease will kill one of three of us.
Kevin had never taken anything so seriously in his entire life, and yet so many people either don’t understand the real threat that heart disease poses or are simply in denial that their lifestyle choices play a significant part in the cause and effect of their health and wellness.
Kevin’s story is about becoming proactive with his health and making changes to bring him back to a healthy happy life. Now he has his own podcast to share a message of hope. There is not miracle cure for heart disease. The cure is you.
You can find him on facebook and instagram.

My interview with Jesse is a delightful conversation about a health and spiritual journey. Jesse left home at 14 and married, got pregnant, and was so malnourished, lost her child. She suffered through multiple toxic relationships, and hormone issues, and discovered she had a pituitary tumor. She went to school, became a medical assistant, suffered through another toxic relationship and finally was blessed with a child. Through her journey towards health and self awareness, she finally created a happy, healthy life that she knew she deserved. In the process she experienced her spiritual awakening, and how to use her intuitive gifts and call upon her angels to create self love and a healthy relationship with herself, her child and a wonderful soul mate.

Tips for holiday joy when we can’t get together to celebrate.
There are tons of ways to make this holiday a holiday to be grateful for and to be joyous with others.
It’s the holidays and since we are all still in social isolation, I wanted to share ways for your Thanksgiving and then Christmas, Hanukkah or other holidays to be very special in spite of being virtual. This is a year to make new family stories and memories by being super creative to still be inclusive of all of your loved ones.
i give ideas on how to do virtual parties, what programs to use, how to make the same meal together, how to order food and get it delivered to family members that can’t be with you, how to organize a drop off potluck, how to read holiday stories, and how to still sing holiday songs together. I even give suggestions for games that can be played together virtually. Use your imagination and let it run wild. By doing it over zoom, you can record it and send it out for future viewing. No matter what, create a ho ho ho holiday filled with joy and love.
I am a coach and you can contact me firstname.lastname@example.org. I can help you reach your health goals.

October 15, 2020 The Perils of Sugar
Sugar is as addictive as cocaine and heroine. It does harm to every system in the body. It takes away our food freedom by suppressing our appetite hormones. This continually causes us to crave “more” sugar even after we have eaten a large meal. We no longer detect that we are full. We need to detox off of sugar to lower our inflammation. Sugar causes “leaky gut” which causes dis-ease.
Fake sugars are no better. They are pure chemicals and do our bodies harm.
I discuss the damage that sugars in processed foods and fast foods are doing to our bodies.
Hire me to help you navigate the mine field of food. You set your health goals, I help you achieve them. I hold clients accountable to their own goals. People who hire a coach want to win; I help them do that with their health. I help clients write their own story so that they can create their own ending. 7/16/2020 Getting to Know your Farmers Market
Get to know your farmers market(s). Its important, whenever possible, to know the farmers that are growing your food and the methods that they are using to grow their crops. The advantage of going to farmers markets are many, you can get to know your farmer, you can find lots of wonderful amazing foods that are not easily available from big box grocers because they are made in small batches, you can find like minded people who are shopping with health in mind. Different farmers markets have different products available, so if you are lucky to have several in your area, check them all out. I don’t eat synthetic chemicals. I have found wonderful products that are homemade, like a homemade V-8 juice made from home grown organic tomatoes, or marvelous organic breads. You can also find real local honey, which isn’t cut with corn syrup and helpful for hay fever. We also buy our pastured meats from our markets. As a foodie who eats clean, farmers markets are loaded with treasures.

This is a fascinating interview that you won’t want to miss.
June 18, 2020 You Are What You Eat
In this episode, I discuss why food quality matters and why our bodies need nutrients to be healthy. Fast Food and processed foods are often “fake” food, loaded with synthetic ingredients. We need the nutrients from real whole foods so that our bodies have the correct building blocks to regenerate cells and sty healthy. June 11, 2020 Michele Pope, Glyphosate Poisoning (Round up)
Glyphosate Poisoning- Glyphosate is Round-Up. Round-Up has lost 3 lawsuits and has 4000 pending suits against them. Still Round-Up is being sprayed on our food, lawns, school yards, sidewalk grass, and golf courses. One of two types of Genetically Modified Crops is “Round-Up” Ready, which means that the food can withstand excess amounts of Round-Up sprayed on it. Avoid GMOs. One of the dangers of glyphosate, other than that it is a herbicide and poison, is that it is chelating all of the minerals out of our growing soil, and making the plants deficient in minerals, and what minerals do make it to our guts are being chelated right out of our bodies before our bodies can utilize them.
June 4, 2020 Farming- Conventional vs GMO vs Organic
Its important to eat real food, real fruits and vegetables of all the colors of the rainbow so that our bodies get real nutrients. In addition, it is important to eat our whole foods without an unhealthy dose of toxins and chemicals with them. When I first got autoimmune disease 8 years ago, I didn’t understand how our food was grown, so I was unaware of all the toxins being used on our food at factory farms. Organic food is more regulated, and organic growers have to meet strict guidelines so that they can take their produce to market as organic. These guidelines do make organic more expensive to grow their crops. Conventional farming is also subsidized by our government making it unnaturally less expensive. I explain what the Dirty Dozen/ Clean 15 lists are, and why this is where you should start to spend your organic food moneys. May 21, 2020 The Importance of Releasing Stress
I think most of us are aware that stress can damage our health. As a business owner, however, I thought it was also propelling me forward and helping me get more accomplished.
As humans we developed the stress mechanism in order to respond to danger in the wild. If we encountered a tiger when we were out foraging for food, our adrenaline and cortisol went into high gear, moving blood to our brains and our muscles so that we could remove ourselves quickly from the danger.
Chronic Stress is a contributor to “leaky gut” which is the root cause of chronic disease, which includes cancer, heart disease and autoimmune diseases.
Not all stress is harmful. Stress that becomes chronic becomes dangerous. I didn’t realize, it was also hindering, not helping, my productivity.
Recovery from chronic stress is not negotiable, you can make time to rest and rejuvenate now or make time to be sick and injured later. Desktop book on Stress available on Amazon. Stress 2-minute exercises
